11th International Poultry Show & Seminar-2019

Chicks & Feeds Limited participated with their global partners (FCM, ASTINO, ISHII, & MEYN) in three-days International Poultry Show-2019 held at the International Convention City Bashundhara in the capital from March 07 to 09, 2019
Agriculture Minister Md Abdur Razzaque inaugurated the event. World’s Poultry Science Association-Bangladesh Branch (WPSA-BB) and Bangladesh Poultry Industries Central Council (BPICC) jointly organized the show. 800 stalls of 500 companies from 22 countries across the globe are participated at the 3-day poultry show.Participants from around 22 countries are showcasing their modern technology.
At the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Razzaque said the poultry sector has potentials. “It has expended vastly in the last 10 years. We are almost becoming self-sufficient in food. Now, we want food security,” he said.
“We have been able to achieve MDG and will attain SDG by 2030. The government is prioritizing the agriculture sector. We hope it will become a lucrative sector within a short time,” he said.

3rd Nepal Agritech Interational Expo 2019

Chicks & Feeds Limited & FCM participated 3rd Nepal Agritech Interational Expo 2019 starting of this year from 25-27 January 2019 at Chitwan Expo Center, Bharatpur, Chitwan, Nepal.

Nepal is an agriculture depending country where poultry farming is one of the important occupation of Nepalese Farmers. Commercial production of chicken meat in Nepal stands at 118000 tonnes annually, while egg output amounts to 1.50 billion sets annually. The global average chicken meat consumption is 14kg per person, while average per capita egg consumption is 160 units annually. In the South Asia region, Nepal’s per capita chicken consumption is well above India. Nepal’s poultry industry has an annual turnover of Rs 40 billion, producing chicken meat worth Rs 24 billion, eggs worth Rs 12 billion and chicks worth Rs 4 billion. Chickens are produced commercially in 64 districts in the country and 55,871 people are engaged in the business. As a result, the poultry market has been growing rapidly. Understanding the country’s demand and the cost of power energy at Nepal, FCM showcased its robust, user friendly and power saving operation plant that not will save farmer’s power cost but will also give higher feed production at an affordable pricing
